Alarm Configuration
The Alarm is typically integrated with the Nurse Call system. It is activated by the Virtual Monitoring Tech when immediate bedside attention is required. The Alarm is appropriate when verbal interventions are not effective at redirecting the patient.

Introduction
The Alarm includes an optional feature to enable an audible Alarm from the Camera. When an Alarm is triggered, an MP3 audio alarm will be activated in the room from the speakers. The type and duration of the Alarm are configurable by an Administrator. This is configured at the Hospital level.
Configuration Options
- On the Hospital edit page, an Administrator can configure the following fields:
- Video Device Alarm - select from these options:
- Video Device Alarm Duration - the number of seconds the alarm will sound
- Video Device Alarm - select from these options:
- The Alarm Volume may also be configured between 1 (Low) and 10 (High) on the Video Device edit page.
