Virtual Nursing - Connection Issues (Video)
An unsuccessful Video Visit may result in either of the videos not connecting properly.
View for the Virtual Nurse / Provider
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
- Hit the blue Connect button and attempt to reconnect.
- If that does not work, request the bedside team power cycle / reboot the camera.
- If that does not work, have the camera replaced
View for the Patient
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
- Ensure the hospital logo is visible prior to initiating a video visit. This ensures the camera is properly connected to the monitor.
- Ensure the clinician had the two-way video option enabled (see image below)
- Check monitor power and HDMI connections in the room
