Monitoring Notes & Attributes

Monitoring Notes and Attributes are used as convenient reminders to helpful information unique to each patient. Hover over the "tag" icon in the top right corner of the Video window.

  • Monitor Notes - general information that is relevant to that monitoring session. This could be medical/clinical information or something personal that may help you in communicating with the patient such as a spouse or favorite pet's name. Some VMTs use this space to remember the RN/PCA names and phone extensions.
    • "RN Kim x3453 / PCA Lisa x3499"
    • "He misses his dog at home - named Lucy"
  • Monitor Attributes - these are the main reasons that virtual monitoring is considered necessary. Attributes are set at the Hospital System level and can include any custom descriptions. Typical attributes tracked include: Fall Risk, Wanderer, Delirium, Sundowner, Elopement

You can create and edit Notes and Attributes in two ways:

(1) When you initiate a Monitoring session, you can set these details prior to hitting Confirm to start the session:

(2) In Quick View, you have access to set each of them.
