Central Monitoring - Views
In this article
Introduction
A View is simply a display of Blocks.
There is no limit to the number of Blocks in a View. You are only limited by the practical screen size of your monitor.
In the example below, the Blocks are all of patient Live Videos.
This is the type of View that will be most common for Virtual Monitoring.
However, Views can be set up to display other types of patient data including AI-generated charts and graphs as we will see.
Different View Configurations
Views can be configured with live patient videos and a wide variety of AI-generated graphs and data. However, these types of Blocks are not typically used in a Virtual Sitting scenario.
With a very wide screen, you can watch many more patients and related data.
Manually Adding Blocks to a View
| 1 Click blue "View" button in the top right of the view. Then click Add Block.
| 2 From the Add New Block pop-up, select the patient

| 3 Then select the Block Type
- For Virtual Monitoring, we will almost always select Live Video
| 4 Click Save
Drag & Drop Blocks
You can move the blocks around as needed.
Move higher-priority or more active patients to the top rows
If you are monitoring multiple hospitals, sometimes it is helpful to arrange the patients by hospital (in rows or columns).
